|
A case of Cushing´s syndrome in 36 years old Korean female was presented. The patient was admitted to our hospital on January 14, 1975, because of obesity, general weakness and easy fatigability. On physical examination, she was appeared typical Cushing´s syndrome with pletholic moon face, hirsutism, truncal obesity and purple striae in the lower abdomen and flanks. The diagnosis was confirmed by above clinical manifestation, biochemical and hormonal studies and final patho-histologic examination. On microscopic findings, the left side one was appeared a typical adrenocortical adenoma and the right side one was appeared adrenocortical atrophy. The current literatures about Cushing´s syndrome were reviewed and our case was reported.
